Vision Just a Mile Ahead

Dhanaulti roamingindian

That childhood zeal,
That brand new bicycle gifted from dad,

Those wanderings on the roads, unexplored, as every dusk fell,
To soothe the urge for the vision just a mile ahead.

The musings on the sight of distant mountains,
The word to self, to cherish the view from their peaks,
and soothe the urge for the vision just a mile ahead.

The anxious spirit while walking on the unknown,
Yet holding on to a beautiful nudge, to keep going,
Was all to soothe the urge for the vision just a mile ahead.

The will is partly His and partly mine,
That despite its obscurity, my journey is still going,
To soothe the urge for the vision just a mile ahead.

The mysteries of life are revealing,
Minute by minute,
Day by day,
The glorious bits are assorted with the dark ones.
But inhaling the alluring wave of courage, I’m going on,
To soothe the urge for the vision just a mile ahead.

My eyes are waiting for the destination to this journey,
And the journey of these unanswered questions,
In the hunt of the answers that my heart ponders,
I’m going on,
To soothe the urge for the vision just a mile ahead.

When the destination seems far flung,
And the journey appears blurry,
Don’t lose hope, because you have to keep walking,
To soothe the urge for the vision just a mile ahead.
